Drying Device

Cassava pulp and potato residue are the main by-products of the production of starch and alcohol. With a moisture content of about 80%, these materials are highly viscous. Traditional drying equipment often leads to chemical reactions like gelatinization or clogging, resulting in poor product quality. Our specialized dryer utilizes "mechanical dehydration + drum drying + pulse air drying" technology to effectively dry potato and cassava residue to below 10% moisture in one pass, ensuring perfect color and nutrient preservation.

Application: Widely used for drying potato residue, sweet potato dregs, cassava pulp, tapioca slag, and other starch residues.

⚙️ Working Principle

Material Flow: Material with 75-85% moisture first undergoes mechanical dehydration to reach approximately 68%. It is then fed into the drum dryer where inner shoveling plates and mixing blades stir and crush the material. Hot air facilitates rapid heat exchange, reducing moisture to 35%. Finally, a pulse air-drying process reduces moisture to 10%, with dry powder recovered by a cyclone discharger and pulse bag dust collector.

Airflow: The hot blast stove heats air to 600-850ºC. This hot air is inhaled by a draft fan into the dryer to evaporate water. After heat exchange, the exhaust air (55-85ºC) is purified through the cyclone and pulse dust collector to meet emission standards.
